In 2014, Geoff Seideman and his wife Charmayne opened Honolulu Beerworks, a neighborhood craft brewery in the heart of Kaka'ako. From the beginning they focused on using unique and locally sourced ingredients in the brewing process. Honolulu Beerworks now has an experimental and robust barrel aging program.

the taproom

Honolulu Beerworks has opened a vibrant new taproom at 1632 Hart St. in Kalihi, situated in the same building as Lion Coffee. This expansive, industrial-style space features a high-ceilinged bar cloaked in the brewery’s signature blue and white, a well-appointed merchandise shop, and ample seating overlooking the gleaming new brewing equipment. With rotating food trucks, easy parking, and community-minded conservation brews, it's a fresh, spirited addition to Kalihi’s local scene..

Featured Local Artist

Based out of neighboring studio Lana Lane, Big Island artist Kai'ili "Kai" Kaulukukui draws inspiration from Hawaiiʻs natural beauty, rich native culture and abundant ocean life. His art is featured on Honolulu Beerworks' core and seasonal can labels and decorates their brew pub walls and beer garden.
