A Pint for the pond
OLA IʻA POG LAGER

Honolulu Beerworks is giving back to one of Kāneʻohe's most important cultural sites. For every pint of our Ola Iʻa POG Lager sold, we're donating $1 directly to Waikalua Loko Iʻa with the option of rounding up tabʻs at checkout to raise even more.
Waikalua Loko Iʻa is a centuries-old Hawaiian fishpond, an early and ingenious form of aquaculture built by Native Hawaiians long before Western contact. Today it's restored and cared for by the Pacific American Foundation, which uses the pond as a living classroom, teaching local youth about traditional Hawaiian resource management, environmental stewardship, and cultural heritage.
We named this lager Ola Iʻa "life source from the fish" because that's exactly what this fishpond represents: a place where community, culture, and conservation come together to sustain life for generations to come. Every pint you drink helps keep that mission alive.
